From party-season pours and quick and easy dinners to delicious snacks and surprising new finds, I’m sharing my favorite foods of 2022. Read on and enjoy! 👇
Earlier this year, a friend introduced me to Modern Bread and Bagel and I fell in love. They are the best gluten-free bagels I’ve ever had. Hand rolled. Baked fresh. Kettle boiled—checks all the boxes. And the best part? They ship nationwide!
If I’m hosting a dinner party, my go-to drink of choice is Forever Gold Wine. My friend Ali Larter’s Signature Red Wine Blend is a delicious California Red with the aroma of blackberries and a dark chocolate finish. The flavorful Paso Robles is perfect for an intimate dinner with friends; grab a bottle and embrace those golden moments in life with each sip.
Of course, I would be remiss not to mention Pizzana! Pizzana makes a delicious, easy family dinner when you’re exhausted from all the holiday events and shopping. I highly recommend the ever-popular Pepperoni and fan-favorite Cacio e Pepe; our chef Daniele Uditii translated this classic Roman dish into pizza and now it’s been emulated on menus across the country! Order on Goldbelly and taste the original—and the best!
With the launch of my book Sweet Success, I’ve been traveling a ton, popping up all over for book signings, interviews, and author events—and it’s been a whirlwind! I’ve been so busy, I like to keep a few goodies tucked in my bag for when that snack attack hits!
Here’s what you’ll find in my bag right now:
My go-to when I’m craving something sweet is SkinnyDipped, an amazing women-founded company who made it their mission to create healthy and delicious snacks that nourish the body and spirit. Their newest creation, the Caramel Peanut Paradise Cup, is to die for! Made with triple layers of peanuts, peanut butter, and caramel in a dark chocolate-coated shell, it’s as decadent as it sounds. It’s also made with only 1g of sugar (none of that fake stuff), so feel free to indulge. These better-for-you Paradise Cups are irresistible, and I highly recommend you try them immediately.
After giving a keynote at Taco Bell, I was thinking about Taco Bell’s beloved Cinnamon Crispas and how sad I was that these delicious cinnamon-sugar chips were discontinued. Someone recommended these Siete Cinnamon Crisps for a healthy alternative to fill that cinni-sweet craving and my family became obsessed. They are so good!
This one might come as a surprise, but it’s my absolute favorite food find this year, so hear me out! I like to carry a tin of Fishwife Smoked Rainbow Trout with me. It’s lush and decadent to nosh at a party, but equally tasty right out of the can for an easy, elevated lunch on-the-go. The packaging is absolutely stunning too, so it makes a unique hostess gift.
By the way, how incredible is this gingerbread house from the Solvang Bakery. It was a gift from a friend and came in the mail, packed impeccably and personalized with our entire family’s name! Genius!
