People don't know the struggles we face behind the scenes and how hard it is not to take things personally (had to hire life coach to help me with this!). Ah the story about the 1 star review is so refreshing to hear! Most founders online just skip over those nasty messy moments but in reality things sometimes (hopefully only rarely) slip through the cracks, stuff happens and a bad customer experience is inevitable. The idea to give them gift cards and an apology was great. Most people just want to know they’re heard and seen and a heartfelt im sorry with an olive branch goes a long way! Really enjoying the newsletter!
